I tried my best; I really did.
But I am totally checked out this week.
You are all amazing and I love sharing treats here on the blog, but Spring Break is less than two days away and I cant-freaking-wait.
Although I tend to worry (just a tad) when I realize how quickly this final semester of college is coming to an end, I am relieved that there will be one week where I don’t have to:
a) wake up to an alarm clock
b) forget my lunch and have to buy it at the student center
c) have to worry about cooking at alllll
d) write any papers
e) care about being productive
That list could be way longer but I figured I’d spare you the unabridged version. 😉 I also thought I’d be able to show you how I made this amazing lemon curd earlier in the week, but then I remembered how terrible I am with photographing yellow food.
Typically I can fix the issues in Photoshop, but the universe was not having it so here we are with a recipe round up. 🙂
I thought I’d search through my archives (they’re getting quite long now!) and pull out some recipes for sweet Easter treats. If you don’t celebrate Easter, then many of these can still be fantastic Spring baking ideas for whatever parties you have planned.
So let’s see…
Teehee thanks for joining me on my little stroll down Memory Lane…I know these aren’t the quality you may be used to seeing if you’re a new reader here on the blog, but it’s nice to see that you are indeed progressing in your skills. And hey, don’t doubt that blueberry pie bar just because of my previous poor photography skills – those things are AHMAZING.
For some more recent Spring/Easter recipes, check out:
Samoa Donuts (Every holiday needs these!)
And with that, my friends, my brain is off to Spring Break, and hopefully the rest of my body with it.
But don’t fret!
I have some lovely guest posts set up for next week featuring a bunch of my friends and blogging buddies. You will all get along smashingly; I’m sure of it. 😀
Happy Baking My Friends!
