And goodbye 2014! That still feels so strange to write down. Where did 2014 go? What will 2015 bring?
I hope it brings lots of delicious food, as if that surprises any of you. 😉
So today I just wanted to share a few highlights from the blog this year. I learned how to deep fry, how to make pierogi, and most of all, I learned how to fall in love with my blog again.
This year has taught me, above all else, to focus on great content over a lot of content. That may sound like a no-brainer, but food blogging gets rather competitive at times, and it can feel like you need to post all the time to get noticed.
But what I need, more than anything else, is to enjoy what I do and to share those fun food experiences with you, my lovely readers. I thank you all, from the bottom of my heart, for being so supportive and sharing in this experience with me. You all rock my socks and I hope you’ll stick around for more fun in 2015.
Speaking of which, I would be remiss if I didn’t at least hint at that long-term project I mentioned a few weeks back. It’s a little terrifying to actually write it out here, but it’s happening so I may as well say it:
I’m writing a cookbook!
An e-cookbook to be more specific, but a cookbook nonetheless. It’s been one of my dreams to do so, and I feel like now is a good a time as ever to dive into it.
With that in mind, posting on the blog will average to twice a week as opposed to the typical three times a week, but I hope to share sneak peeks of the book as the year progresses!
Okay, that’s enough chatter from me. Without further ado, here are the top posts of 2014!
Have a very Happy New Year and I’ll see you all in 2015!
