So Much Citrus! Fresh and Sweet Recipe Roundup
Hello friends!
So sadly, I have no new recipe for you today. I’ve been quite busy this week, spending time with my fam before heading back to Rutgers. Quite the vacation has been had, and I feel refreshed and ready to take on my last (holy cow did I just write that) semester of college.
To sum up the culinary adventures over break:
No Knead Bread was a huge success
Some delicious chocolate cupcakes were gobbled down…
I made (erm, I mean painted) these super cute measuring cups as part of my “I want my whole kitchen to be cute” escapade. Now if only the actual kitchen could be turned cute…
I am the elated, ecstatic, overjoyed, blogger who still can’t believe a few of her photos finally appeared on these sites.
But all my running around has not prevented me from noticing the huge multitude of awesome citrus recipes fluttering around the blogosphere lately. I tried out one, namely the Meyer Lemon Pound Cake from the wonderful Tracey of Tracey’s Culinary Adventures…
and yet I still cannot get my mind off the tart, yet sweet, citrusy stuff. And, with that in mind, I thought I’d compile a list of recipes containing sweet treats so fresh and fruity they’ll be sure to brighten up any dreary winter scene. I shall be returning to the wasteland of weather that is NJ momentarily, and I can’t wait to try some of these out to keep my head in sunny daydreams.
